Once again, our current Democratic government – and its presidential candidate – is demonizing Russia and its current leader Vladimir Putin. Since I’ve stopped watching the mainstream media, I’m not sure if the general American public is aware of NATO’s build-up along the Russian border. Our government claims that this action is in defense of Russian aggression. Is it? Who is the real aggressor? We need to wake up to what’s really going on in Eurasia.

Granted the USA is imperfect, but to suggest Putin is an innocent is a bridge too far for me.

Inese, here in the USA, the mainstream media keeps us in the dark about foreign policy decisions that affect and will affect the lives of us all. Is that also true for mainstream media in the UK?

I guess so. But we can do our research – most of the websites can be translated.

This demon thing is a ridiculous, self-serving, and dangerous line of thought. Who thinks John McCain, for example, is really less dangerous.than Putin? Furthermore,in this case Putin happens to be correct.
By the way, one and only one, nation is responsible for nuclear devastation.
Hiroshima.
Nagasaki
Rosaliene, thanks a lot for posting this.

Claire, our leaders play a dangerous game when they persist in portraying our enemies as pure evil. History has shown, as in the case you mention, that people everywhere are capable of the same barbarity.

Very interesting piece. Wonder how something as grave as this escaped the attention of the likes of CNN and BBC and the rest of the mainstream media. Actually, Putin is just warming up. Check out this news report. http://www.whatdoesitmean.com/index2080.htm

Hello Tony. Thanks for dropping by.
The mainstream media continues to fail us by withholding vital information.
I checked out your attached news report. There is so much negative information circulating online about Hillary Clinton that it is difficult to determine what is truly fact-based.

Hi Rosaliene. Very true, and likewise, there are so many glowing reports about the Clintons circulating in the mainstream media it’s hard to tell which of them, if any, are true.

Yes, Russia is a touchy subject. Carol, as you know well from your work among America’s First Nation communities, dominant cultures usually control the narrative about those they either consider inferior or a threat to their dominance.
